Bishop Plummer accepted Christ at the tender age of thirteen and has remained faithful, keeping his hand to the plow in service to the Lord and the Church. He is a graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, Connecticut. In 1976, Bishop Theodore and his twin brother, Deacon Timothy W. Plummer, enlisted in the United States Army and served honorably for three years in Korwestheim, Germany.Following his honorable discharge, Bishop Plummer began a distinguished career with the United States Postal Service while simultaneously pursuing theological education. In 1985, he answered the call to ministry, committing himself to study and preparation in accordance with 2 Timothy 2:15.He is a graduate of the Manhattan Bible Institute of New York City, where he completed advanced theological studies, including two years of New Testament Greek. Through decades of disciplined study, teaching, and ministry application, Bishop Theodore T. Plummer earned his Doctor of Theology (Ph.D./Th.D.).For approximately twenty years, Bishop Plummer served as an instructor at the Southern New England Bible Institute, teaching Evangelism, Christian Workers Training, Advanced Pedagogy, and Eschatology.Bishop Theodore T. Plummer is the fourth generation to pastor Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, founded by his great-grandfather. He succeeded his father, Bishop T. Walter Plummer, who served faithfully for forty-six years.In February 2013, Bishop Plummer retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty-five years of service to enter full-time ministry. He was consecrated as Bishop on October 2, 2015, under the United Council of Independent Christian Churches (UCICC).Bishop Plummer is happily married to First Lady and Evangelist Madison A. Plummer. They are the proud parents of Tedina Areese Plummer and Theodore T. Plummer II, and grandparents of three grandchildren.Bishop Theodore T. Plummer’s goal is to be faithful unto death, knowing that Christ, the righteous Judge, shall bestow the crown of life.
